2003-2004

After her coaching duties are over, Angie slips into her Super "Shortie" Hero costume and patrols the night looking for pranksters and bad guys. Although she only can use her big wheel to track down the villains, the word has gotten out to look out. Her superpowers of leaping small curbs and staring at you until you blink keep everyone in line. We feel much safer with Super Shortie on the lookout. Thanks Angie!

Taking some time off from her superhero duties, Angie is taking up Paragliding and plans to sail off the high mountains out west. Although she is afraid of heights and has never been parachuting, she is pushing on to tackle the challenge. Her training consists of jumping off her bed with a blanket firmly in her grasp to experience the rush of air under her feet and the thrill of adventure. Good luck Angie, we know you can do it!

Angie begins her training this year to earn a spot on the Olympic Luge team. Since there is little ice to train with, Angie has begun training on her specially designed slip and slide. Mastering curves like nobody else can, Angie uses the slip and slide to skillfully achieve her 5 second run each day, perfecting all the skill she will need to achieve her goal. Angie has perfected her signature move call the "Flop" where she defies the normal techniques used by her competitors and slides down stomach first to achieve a speed so fast it has been setting records on every slip and slide she has faced. Good luck Angie on your quest to become the best.

Angie is training hard to enter the world of Professional Wrestling. Training with professionals like Hulk Hogan and Stone Cold Steve Austin, Angie plans to start with matches against women managers. After she disposes of these women, she will take on the big-time wrestlers. Angie is currently looking for a tag team wrestler who will be worthy of her talents and one day hopes to hold the world wrestling title. She trains daily by jumping from one bed to another in flying feats of amazement. She also tumbles 300 times a day. Together with her big wheel training, she should be in the ring in perfect shape in short order. Good luck Angie in you quest and we look forward to you raising the belt.

Angie has set high goals for herself this year as she trains to become a Professional Bull Rider. Angie trains hard every day in pursuit of her goal. Although there are no bulls to ride where she lives and has never been on a horse, she trains daily by going to the local grocery store and riding the electric horse. With the grueling training we have no doubt the Angie will be on the rodeo tour in no time riding with the best of them. Good luck Angie on you quest!

This year Angie plans to become a professional roller derby girl. With her Big Wheel Tour De France adventure complete, Angie plans to less time in the saddle and more time bashing opponents. Angie trains by putting on a helmet and bashing into arbitrary objects wherever she can. Known as "Shorty" on the professional tour, she is built for speed and undercutting the legs of her fiercest opponents. Her signature move is the "Double Flip Supplex" where she catches her opponent unaware and flips them into the air, leaving a trail of confused opponents all over the rink, while she merrily skates away to score the winning goal. Good luck in your new endeavor, and hopefully we will see the highlights on ESPN.

Angie has big plans this year! Her next big adventure is the swim with the great white sharks. Angie has trained long and hard for her upcoming event. She first started training by testing the waters at home. She would buy the meanest looking goldfish and put them in the tub while taking her bath to get used to the harshness of the open waters. Next, she would draw pictures of the great beast and put them on her headboard so she could stare down the mighty sharks at night. In the next phase of her adventure she would elicit the help of her friends at the gym pool where they would splash the water around her to simulate the thrashing of the great whites. Some of them would even swim under her and rub noodles againt her leg to simulate the sandpaper feel of the beastly sharks scraping against her. Her final phase of preparation would be to drive down to the beach and go into the water up to her ankles to get the feel of the fierce ocean. I think she is ready. I look forward to seeing Angie in an upcoming documentary during shark week on the Discovery Channel. Good luck Angie!

Angie's new quest this year is to find Little Foot who is the shorter version of Big Foot. Angie had big plans to go on expeditions in the great outdoors of Montana and to climb the Himalayans is her quest but was sidetracked by her fear of trees and doesn't like the cold. So instead, Angie searches her backyard every night with the pen light on her keychain hoping to surprise the little hairy guy and prove to the world the existence of the notorious creature. We wait patiently for Angie's findings and hope she can turn her adventures into one of the worlds greatest documentaries.

Angie has big aspirations this year. She is practicing to be a big star on American Idol. Although tone deaf and can't sing a lick, Angie has been getting ready for the big day by singing in the shower for the last few months. She is hoping to score a big record label album with songs she makes up that don't rhyme and only appeal to small children. She does voice training by recording her songs on her tape recorder, calling up random people on the phone and asking for tips while she plays back her songs. Good luck Angie, we look forward to seeing you in Hollywood someday.

Angie has decided this is the year to go for the gusto and is planning to compete in the X-Games. She plans to bring her big wheel out of retirement and show everyone what a real biker can do. While Angie doesn't like heights, she has put all her fears aside and can do a 5-inch vertical leap off the curb. Amazing what can be accomplished when put to the test. Angie plans to show up and do all the major moves, sit and spin, front wheel pull up, two wheel edge ride and her big finally the scream and yell from the top of a 5 foot platform. She has already started training in the local park on the monkey bars, already getting up to the second rung. She then plans on jumping up and down several times a day to get ready for the big show. As a final test she will balance walking on the curb very, very slow to practice for the high wire act. We are sure Angie will excel in her new quest.
