Cindy returns for her second year as assistant coach for the boys and girls
team. Cindy has a long background in swimming. She started swimming for
Centenial Aquatic Club in grade school and swam for Wood in High School.
While at Wood she was All-Catholic all four years and broke team records in
the 50 and 100 Butterfly, 50 and 100 Backstroke, 200 Individual Medley and
the Freestyle and Medley Relays. She continued her swimming career in
College at the University of Maryland. She acheived All-American status
while breaking records in the 50, 100 and 200 yard Butterfly events plus
all four relay events. After graduation she contiuned swimming in the
Masters program and was the Wood girls head coach for 5 years just before
Joe McGhee took over the program. Under Cindy's direction, the team
captured first place at the National Catholic Championships and was named
National Catholic Coach of the Year. Cindy excels at evaluating talent
on the team and lineups for our dual meets.
