Coaches Comments: "Liz's hard work and
dedication to swimming resulted in a breakout year. Finally getting over the
hump and gaining confidence in her ability, Liz won the 100 Butterfly at both
the National Catholic Invitational and league champs. Scoring in both
individual and relay events at all our championship meets, Liz earned our
Outstanding Swimmer Award this year. Liz's dedication and spirit was
truly evident this year when one of the coaches from the league praised not
only her swimming ability, but how well she cheered for all our other
swimmers while swimming their events. Liz will be counted on next year for
leadership and point scoring. As good as this season was for Liz, one of
her goals for next year will be the league record in the 100 Butterfly.
